Mission
St. Dunstan's Youth Ministry enables the youth of this community to experience, celebrate and share their faith with each other and the entire parish community. Youth Ministry focuses on building relationships and providing youth opportunities to experience God in personal, concrete, and meaningful ways. We will support the youth and the entire St. Dunstan community as they grow in their relationship with God, each other, and the entire human family. We will be the hands and feet of Jesus in tangible ways through prayer, fun, and service.

		Youth Night- Bowling at Brentwood - May 15: Are you ready for some fun before finals begin? Join Youth Ministry for the last Youth Night of the year- A night of bowling and fun. Bring 3 cans of food to donate to Catholic Worker Hospitality House and you can bowl for FREE. We will meet at Brentwood Bowl, 237 El Camino Real, SSF on Thursday, May 15 from 7-9 pm. You MUST bring a completed permission slip to participate.
To participate in any of the Youth Ministry events you must have a completed Parental Permission Form on file.

On-Going Events

Being Active with God: Praying can take many forms including sports and physical activity. There will be basketball open gym on every 2nd Sunday of the month from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm in the Parish Center. Bring your basketball shoes, good sports [wo]manship, and your "A" game. On every 4th Sunday of the month there will be various activities (i.e. flag football, hiking, yoga, and dodgeball) to help us bond as a community and draw closer to God. Check upcoming events to find out times and places of these activities. Youth Night is an opportunity for the teens of the parish to have fun, build community, and deepen their relationship with God. There will be Youth Nights on the 1st & 3rd Thursday of the month from 7:00- 9:00 pm. See details about the next Youth Night below. Burritos & Bibles is a bible study and faith sharing opportunity just for teens. Come deepen your faith, eat good food, and develop meaningful friendships. Burritos & Bibles is on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month in the convent at 1111 Magnolia (across the street from the church parking lot). Please bring a bible (there will be extras if you do not own one), open heart and mind, $5 to help with the cost of dinner, and a completed permission slip if this is your first youth event.

	1)	St. Dunstan's Youth-ministered Mass coming soon!!! We are excited to announce that the first Sunday 5:00 pm mass of the month will be a Youth-ministered Mass. High school teens will be ministering to the community during these masses as greeters, lectors, ushers, Eucharistic ministers, music ministers and more. If you are interested in helping with these masses, please call Laura at (650) 692-4872 or email Laura.
	2)	Recruiting adult leaders to be a part of Youth Ministry team - We also need adult support to make the St. Dunstan's Youth Program a success. If you are interested in being a chaperone at an event, part of the Youth Ministry team, or would like to support this ministry in other ways, please call Laura at (650) 692-4872.
